Resha, Caren, and Sue in Australia, July 1998. See comments for the memory that goes with it...

From Caren C.: This was taken in July 1998 when Sue came to Australia days before I was about to have Abby. She got money to come there because there was a big scientific meeting (Conservation Bio, I think) at the same time so she literally whipped up a modelling paper overnight, applied to have a travel grant to present it, got it, and came. A whole paper and it was entirely an aside from Sue's perspective because she really just wanted to come see me and Resha and all the animals in Australia. Resha was my valuable technician that year and we decided not to tell her about this....you can imagine her surprise to find Sue at
her door, all the way around the world in rural Australia! During Sue's visit, every time we so much as walked in a separate direction, Sue would
say "call me if you start having that baby." She really wanted to be there for the birth, but, unfortunately I went into labor the day after she had
to leave.
